Sobering revelations released last week by Sean Carroll in a report about the Victorian Racing Industry reveal abuse, violence and sexual assault. In the same way that sport is both entertainment and a workplace, so too is racing. Within most industries, people are aware that inappropriate behaviours are occurring. What is critical is 1. People can call it out, and 2. Psychological Safety exists so people are safe to call it out. Without these 2 factors many workplaces remain unsafe. At Diversity Inclusion, our team of #psychologists provide clients with our 1. Call It Out Program to build skills and confidence to 'call out' inappropriate and negative behaviours and our 2. Psychological Safety Program so #managers and #leaders can create an environment where everyone can speak up.#safeatwork #respectatwork #positiveduty #harassmentprevention #callitout #diversity #inclusion #belonging #psychologicalsafety #psychosocialhazards #positivebystander #bystandertraining #training #takeaction

Lasso Safe believes that trauma-informed monitoring of athlete experiences can recognize the spectrum of well to abusive sports environments. How many incidents could have been prevented if NMSU athlete-students regularly rated these statements?WELLMy team culture informs me on and respects personal boundaries. If I report a boundary violation, I can remain anonymous, and I know my personal information is protected. I know there is no tolerance for inappropriate behavior on my team and I can report it. This includes treatment such as public humiliation, threats, intimidation and unwanted touch.CONCERNSometimes I see questionable behavior and I don’t feel comfortable reporting it; some reasons may be that I don’t know how, I don’t think it will make a difference or I fear identification and retaliation. I feel dependent on my team’s authority figures and put their approval before my own. ABUSEMy team’s authority figures often use their power through pressures and demands to control me or my teammates; or they let my teammates treat each other this way. This can happen in person or online. I don’t feel comfortable speaking up.Schedule a Lasso Safe Demo: https://lnkd.in/dQQws8fHIf you are an athlete or Survivor and need support, please contact your local helpline or The Courage First Athlete Helpline https://lnkd.in/dEHVhGk5

“Reprehensible “, Five Panelist Response to MSM Lashing Sound of Freedom Movie ~ MSM primarily conflating unfounded conspiracy motives upon the real threat: Child trafficking, proven statistically by multiple international agencies, is an existential threat to children on a global scale. Any entity that detracts from this film’s call to action is part of the problem, not part of the solution.MSM is confident when Q**** is mentioned, their audience is programmed to reject on face value any material or person in it’s shadow. It is proof propaganda works ~ it is not proof or evidence denouncing facts abundantly and clearly purported by agencies whom deal with the reality and horror of child trafficking-slavery-organ harvesting. The dots MSM is not connecting is there exists facts re: elite engaged in sex trafficking. Epstein Island is not the only island. DaVinci Code explored depths of depravity. Eyes Wide Shut by Kubrick revealed ritual. When public awareness hits mass velocity and can no longer tolerate sex trafficking, they will be more responsive to explosive nature of organ harvesting. Once accepted, not a far leap to accept elite eternal twisted search for the Fountain of Youth, is the blood of innocent children. Where MSM has connected the Q dot to Caviezel dot is a flimsy tightrope. MSM is utilizing Q as an Ad homin attack on Caveizel. The flimsy tightrope in between is MSM failure to present facts that a global satanic network whom create a demand for children does not exist. Child trafficking is an industry. There is an architectural structure of broad networks globally and a hierarchy of individuals and cartels internationally, regionally and locally. Make no mistake, anyone involved in the loss of a child’s innocence is driven by ‘satanic’ demons, they are sick individuals. There is no justification on God’s green earth to defend anyone operating on any level in this industry, whether on the supply or demand side. There exists a demand, therefore entities create supply to fill it. Whether or not semantics of Q theories and global elite cabals existence are debated and/or discounted on the merits; the demand driving this industry is real. Like all industries, it can be broken down demographically and geographically. Globally, trafficking of children is greater volume financially than Arms Trade and fast encroaching on Drug Trade. Fear and revulsion are a natural reaction to evil, which is a violation of core values. Overcoming the reaction is the first step towards being part of the solution. Goal driven action and strong faith in God will sustain you. Let freedom ring. Fantastic to catch up with Mark Knoff-Thomas again from Newmarket Business Association Mark runs a tight ship here supporting many local businesses with marketing and business development. However it is concerning hearing about the growing issue of crime in this area ranging from shoplifting to assault and arson. Newmarket Business Association has now grown to include a security operation working in conjunction with local police to make this community safer. Newmarket is a place near and dear to me having come here for special shopping trips as a teenager. It’s also been my local shopping centre for the last 7 years so I’ve seen Newmarket really grow and change over the years. It’s great to see fewer empty shopfronts and new developments coming to the community. Its also really exciting to see the advocacy for root cause initiatives. Newmarket Business Association recognises that not only do we need to ensure the streets are safer, but that we also need to continue to put in place measures to ensure that young people have what they need to thrive. I’m excited to see developments in the local area for places for young people to hang out like a chill out area at the mall and a community basketball court. We need more community organisations that are able to engage with youths to help them build community and express themselves. Crime is a complex issue. We need a multi-pronged approach to make sure our communities are safe but also that people have everything they need to make good choices. People who’s needs are met do not do this kind of crime. #nz #nzpol #politics #business #economy #community #crime #lawandorder

Canine packleaders don’t bark, react without situational assessment, use violence unless threatened and always use their calm and assertive nature to deliver a message.Humans who are calm and assertive, know they can handle the situation, and don’t sacrifice their pack for the appeasem*nt of their egos are packleaders in the true sense of the word. #packleadership

The Geneva Conventions categorically forbid the taking of hostages, regardless of age. This prohibition is even more stringent when it comes to children, given their vulnerability and the international legal protections specifically afforded to them. The taking of hostages is considered a grave breach of the Geneva Conventions and a war crime under international humanitarian law. Additionally, the use of children in armed conflict, whether as soldiers or hostages, is further prohibited under the Convention on the Rights of the Child and its Optional Protocol on the Involvement of Children in Armed Conflict. These international laws and treaties emphasize the protection and care of children in conflict situations and categorically reject any form of exploitation, including using them as hostages.
